The food was good but the service was very poor. Husband and I got food from the drive-thru and once we got home we realized my sandwich was not in the bag. My husband offered to go back and get my sandwich they forgot and once he was there he asked for another small side of fries because once he got back home my other fries would be stone cold. The waitress refused and stated that she would not give him a side of fries unless he brought back the first side of fries. I was very upset that because of their mistake I was being punished and felt that they could make a small gesture by providing a small portion of fries to fix their mistake but instead we were treated as if we were lying or trying to take advantage of them. Haven’t been here since due to the reaction we received from the waitstaff.
I feel with all the modern technology,Outlaws, should consider updating to using POS system,to eliminate yelling of the orders.Allow the order taker,to input each order, therefore limiting errors. The staff, when handling food, should all be wearing gloves( cutting meat ),and the use of hair nets is critical,it shows your customers, you care about cleaniness.Oversmoking the meats, drys them out,no moisture, effects the overall taste.I don’t mind a lil bark, but the crust( burnt )should not be sold.A spit guard( protective glass )should also be in place where side items sre being served.Customers are talking,as well as ordering without any regard for cross-contamination.Honestly feel a few improvements are needed, especially with the prices.Yeah,a few new tables, and the addition of the fish tank, are okay, but those don’t keep customers coming back.Money spent on cosmetic items, could be spent on food quality.
Not what I estimated, but I enjoyed it!. Good food, good service, great atmosphere, but a bit pricey for what you get. Here you find excellent rolls, amazing squid salad. I was a bit dissatisfied in the Sake but the rolls were excellent I had the cajun roll.
My husband and I visited the restaurant tonight and had the loveliest experience. Our food was great, and the young male manager took time out to talk to us after we finished eating. He made a fresh batch of coffee just for me and even threw in a free dessert when I told him how much I enjoyed the carrot cake here. You don’t see that kind of hospitality often anymore. I will scream of this pleasant experience from sea shore to sea shore. Thank you so much, Outlaw’s.
Great food!!. I always love eating here!! Good everytime!
BBQ!. Outlaws has yumminess and terrific deals all under the same roof. Keep your eyes out for coupons in your mailbox, and they have some online too. We stumbled on this terrific, casual restaurant and have returned multiple times since. We have tried the bakers (stuffed baked potato with meat, cheese, etc…)–and enjoyed them! The Philly sandwich was very good. I thought the smothered potatoes were sortof–meh… Other sides were good. Pecan pie was yummy. There’s a childrens’ menu, family packs to go, salads, burgers, pulled pork, etc… Free WiFi available! I managed to find a seat with an outlet, so that was awesome. There’s plenty of seating. The atmosphere is casual, and appropriate with a kindof Southern-bbq house-neon beer sign milieu. There are tvs with sports programming, but you can’t hear it over environmental sound (people talking). The mood is upbeat, with everyone seeming to enjoy themselves. They have a pretty impressive lunch crowd. Appropriate dress is casual, unless you go through the drive through, then I suppose pajamas are fine.T-shirts are available for purchase. Employees are friendly and helpful.
Being from Memphis and the surrounding area I thought I’d try their Memphis style sandwich today. I was pleasantly surprised. The meat was tender, the sauce was a little sweet but not overbearing, and it had a good slaw on it. The sandwich I had today was as good as any I’ve had in Memphis, better than some. I can’t say it’s the best barbeque I’ve ever had though, that title belongs to Scott’s in Lexington Tennessee.
