7/11. This is your typical neighborhood convenience store, or at least in this part of Louisiana, that was purchased by an Oriental family. They are hard working and bring several of the ethnic dishes to their take-out buffet, fried rice being popular. The customers are a different story. As I parked Friday to buy crawfish the loitering by locals made me unsure of the safety factor and I certainly wouldn’t allow my family, females or children to trade there because of it. Once inside a loud, huge customer, obviously under the influence of something, was complaining about prices and demanding discounts and every sentence laced with expletives which went ignored by the management. I bought 10 lbs of crawfish and we were disappointed as they were overcooked. This place can do a pretty good job when not rushed.
