A New Favorite. Wow…I can’t believe it took me this long to experience Bernadette’s! The mastery of Chef Gerard and his highly skilled wait staff created a 5 course meal complete with perfect wine pairings for an evening I will never forget. The atmosphere is amazing. You enter the near 100 year old home and are served a sweet champagne while seated in the keeping room till they prepare your table. You will dine with no more than a handful of other tables and get complete attention by a server, your waiter and the chef himself. The 3-4 hour affair includes a starter course of scallops, followed by our salad with strawberries and blue cheese, then a shrimp course, beef tenderloin and dessert. This menu changes every day. Because it was my birthday celebration, Chef Gerard surprised me with a table side presentation of his special coffee which included creme de cocoa, grand marnier, rum and chocolate syrup which was garnished by a flaming orange peel that was coiled and lit like a fuse at the top and directed the sweet citrus oils to the coffee as the fire made it’s way down to the cup. And just when I thought it was over, we got a final dessert that had strawberries, creme puffs, chocolate sauce and other layers of goodness paired to a perfect sweet white rhine wine…Wait! Not finished yet!!! For the nightcap, our meal included a fine port wine in a small sipping glass to enjoy as we gladly surrendered to one of the finest dining experiences I ever had in my life. Thank you Chef Gerard and staff! Bernadette’s is now my favorite special occasion location!

Our server Cory did a great job pairing wine with the Chefs creations. Staff was very attentive and informative. The Chef even came out at the end of the evening with aperitifs asking about our experience. Highly recommend to those wanting a romantic evening with your significant other

Fabulous!. Need a reservation. Had the 7 course meal with wines. Way more than anyone can eat. Wonderful atmosphere, great service, really really good food. I liked one of the wines so much they even sent me home with a bottle. VERY pricy but worth it! Will go again and often!
Everything I ate was the best _____ I ever had. Truly a fine dining experience. The chef is a master, the atmosphere perfect, the price is not as high as the food is wonderful. Make reservations for the 5 or 7 course two days in advance. Get the wine parings. I can’t say enough about this place. Now the #1 on my list, and I’ve cooked at many BR eateires. Wow.
Had a great experience. I’m about to make reservations for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary at Bernadette’s. We had a great experience on our first visit. It was very intimate and romantic. The staff was very attentive and the chef came out to talk with us on two occasions. We thought the difference sauces served with our meals were fantastically tasty and really brought out the flavor of our entrees. My wife loved the filet and my duck dish was great. For this reason I’m making reservations for us to go back.
