In spite of the tacky cartoonish sign emblazened on the front of the building, the food and BBQ brisket in particular was very good similar to Cou-yons up the road in the Burbank/Gardere area. If you catch the place while the ladies are running the place, you will experience a little more personality than the men. It’s a basic BBQ, order from the counter joint that plays blues videos on the big flat screen while you eat. It’s good enough for me to go again.
