Went there afew days ago and it was wonderful. Have not gotten a chance to try every thing but the seafood gumbo is yummy and popcorn shrimp po-boy is huge! U must try the onion rings too! John came and got our drink orders and he was extremely nice and explained to us some of his favorite on the menu. He went back to the back and a cute young lady named Jodie came and got our order. She was very pleasant to talk to. The food came out hot and in record time! It was all extremely fresh as well. My family and I will be back time and time again to dine at this wonderful place.
Eating out. Hubby and I went to eat lunch at Chef Kd’s on a Monday at 1:00. Place was empty of customers. We went in and waited, someone finally came out into the restaurant. John, seated us asked about drinks. He was evidentially not in a good mood. I asked if we should leave since it was about an hour before closing time. I got the seafood gumbo and my husband got the popcorn shrimp plate. Food was excellent, John was not. If he would have at least made an attempt to be friendly, it would have been a good experience. We will go back to eat again, but hopefully JOHN will not be there. Chef KD, hope you read this……………………………………….
Great Roast Beef PoBoy. I haven’t had anything bad here yet. But by far the Roast Beef PoBoy is my favorite. I have to say this is one of if not the best one I have had. Friendly service, not a lot of dining space, it is mainly a takeout restaurant.
