Fresh Tortillas. Not everything was worth a comment, the cheese enchalitas were good, the shrimp qusadillas were good buttery tasty, the freshly made to order flour tortillas( watch em make em ) are great !! ( ask for hot sauce ) cause the chips taste store bought and the salsa sucks, ask for beans instead there good. Save room for the Sopapillas they are AWSOME !! drizzled with chocolate & honey, with cinnimon sprinkled on them, huge portion, ice cream too.
Fantastic food, decent service, and a good atmosphere. The smells inside are heavenly. Try the homemade tortillas – seriously the best I’ve ever had. Chips and salsa aren’t the best, but overall, the best Mexican restaurant in Prairieville.

Irate. Mi Padres in Prairieville – Dear Manager, We ordered from you restaurant tonight, as we do frequently! We picked up the order and headed home. One of the items was incorrect to the point it would not be eaten. One item had not been included at all! I called and we made a SECOND trip to the restaurant. My husband went in and you chose to chastise him by saying the order was exactly as it had been ordered! YOU ARE WRONG!!! He heard me order it! You made the mistake and instead of just correcting it and going on with life – you made it an issue! The food is excellent at Mi Padres – service – not so much! Our debit card was hit twice by your establishment on one occasion and we played heck getting you to straighten that out! I will now take my turn on review sites to spread the word of your lousy attitude! YOU MADE A MISTAKE! You lost a faithful customer, who has forgiven several mistakes on your part. I will personally spread the word of your nasty attitude! We made the effort for the second trip – it was our last!!!
