Good Pizza. Pizza is good value you get alot of pizza for the $$. The hamburger meat needs to be re thought. Note…. ground beef needs no NO extra crap in it no filler or seasonings, just get it fresh or grind it fresh pat it out and cook it. I promis you will see the difference and u will sell alot more. Patrons could be met with a more friendly smiling face. I will be back for pizza and calzones….
Great Place!. Just had one of Nick’s famous Special Philly Steak PoBoys. Of course, as usual it was so good. We have benn going here for a few years and the service and food is good. Have yet to try the pizza….will next time.
I read reviews and decided to try it out. I ordered the philly steak poboy and a side of onion rings. The bread with the poboy was excellent but the steak was VERY dry and lacked any flavor. The onion rings were extremely greasy. When I squeezed one of the rings, grease literally dripped off. If I ever go back it will be to try the pizza that others raved about. If it is as good as they say I won’t completely write this restaraunt off.
I have been living near Nick’s for almost a year and a half. I always wanted to stop in and I am super glad I finally did. The pizza was great and the staff was friendly. I will stop in again!
Best Pizza Period. Look the people in Louisiana have some great food and being from the North East you cannot beat the sweet, warm, helping personaility of the people here. With so many great dishes that are unique to Louisiana, but Pizza and Italian/Greek food is just not one of them. My friends here think that Dominos or Pizza Hut is great pizza, these types of chains don’t last a week where I am from. When I moved here 12 years ago, I gave up eating pizza. Everything I tasted was horrible. Anyone reading this knows that the very best pizza in the United States is made in the North East, check it out on the web, it’s a fact not opinion. These guys brought their Pizza making skills from Boston, MA and it is the best in Louisiana. Do yourself a huge favor stop and try anything on the menu. These guys know PIzza. If your idea of fine pizza is Happy Howies, Pizza Hut or Dominos, don’t bother, because you just won’t understand. When I finally found Nick’s Pizza I have never looked back. They are the best.
Great hamburger poboy and muffaletta. They make the best hamburger poboy and muffaletta. The meat is hand selected then ground at Ralph’s supermarket. Poboy bread is delivered from Leidenheimer’s in New Orleans. Prices and great and you get a lot of food. Two people can generally split and poboy and fries and have plenty to eat.As for the pizza, we are crazy about that style of pizza. The ingredients are fresh.This is a locally owned and family business.
