Food is always good as well as service. Shrimp Poboy was perfect! Great place for some good live music as well! Prices seem a little higher than comparing places but worth it.

It was fine. Went with a large group in the private party area. Plenty of good service, they swapped out our beers as fast as we wanted. I particularly liked the fried shrimp. We had a buffet with chicken fettuccine, catfish, shrimp, chicken, and boudan balls.

Decided to go here for brunch because of their many poached egg options. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Initially, I received the wrong order and the eggs were boiled, not poached. I was stunned they would even send that out. If you’re a chef at a restaurant you should know what a poached egg is. The second time my order came out it was still incorrect. The dish was to be served with grits, toast and topped with shrimp and crabmeat. This time, no grits came with it and there were also no shrimp. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Service was horrible. We reserved for a large party in the bar area. There was only one waitress serving us and the bar area. We asked for a manager and discovered she was sitting at the bar the whole time. She finally got up from her friend & helped the waitress. Will not return as they seemed uninterested in serving us.

Terrible service and always SLOW. There are many other seafood restaurants in Prairieville with better food, better prices and better staff.

Popular Spot. Friendly and upbeat waitstaff, decent portions. I’m not really the fried-fishhouse type, but my ‘Just Enough’ fried catfish platter was very good (the cocktail sauce in particular). Also am told the hushpuppies are awesome. I went once at lunch on a weekday and it was crowded, then again at 6pm on another weeday and it was pretty empty, but I’ve seen the parking lot full on the weekend. If you’re in the restaurant side, you can just about hear the live music from the bar next door – enough to be pleasant rather than intrusive.

Two Atmospheres on 2 shells. An extensive menue, a little pricy, great oysters and service – bar on one side, big restaurant on the other, often crowded.
