Visited the other day while I was in the area and left extremely satisfied. I had the pork sauce piquant lunch special, which turned out to be the best sauce piquant I’ve ever had, even better than Suire’s in Kaplan, which I thought nobody could possibly beat. Also tried the ribeye poboywhich was delicious as well. I’ll definitely return the next time I’m out that way.
Easy 3-5 minute drive down a 2 lane highway off of I-10. PoBoys, burgers, plate lunches. Clean, crisp interior. Food is good for what it is. A nice place to stop in for lunch when traveling along I-10.
Decent. Not bad food, but nothing to write home about. They do use a good poboy bread, which makes all the difference. The portions seem a little small compared to other similar places, but again, not bad.
Great Food in Simple Setting. Nothing pretenious here, just real deal cajun Po Boys and dishes. I had the fried shrimp and it was OUTSTANDING – classically dressed, with mounds of fresh perfectly fried shrimp and a classic role. This is a must stop, when I travel between NOLA and Baton Rouge.
Atmosphere is darling. Very nice staff. The food was incredible. The group we came with were all beyond satisfied with their meals. A job very well done.
