Sad. I am guessing that this is a family owned restaurant. I guess that at one time it used to be good. It appears like one of those restaurants where the parents started it and built the business up and then the kids tore it down. The minced bbq sandwich was unedible at best. The waitress was definitely not a pleasent person. We were just passing through. We will definitely not stop by there ever again.

Absolutely a timeless classic… you’ll never be disappointed!. I personally know the owners of this establishment, and the staff. They are wonderful people and their establishment has always held to the best standards of cleanliness! Their meat is smoked on the premises in their smokehouse, their potato salad is made fresh each morning, and so are their wonderful coconut and chocolate pies! If you have a special event and need something fantastic that will never disappoint, call Slayden’s! They also have the most fabulous pineapple cream and banana cream pies you’ve ever tasted – but those are usually special orders. This is one of my favorite places to indulge my bar-b-que cravings!
