Has the ambience and oysters you are looking for in the heart of the Perkins Road scene. Bar area is great for sports watching and enjoying a spicy Bloody Mary and some raw ones before eating your Peacemaker Boy.
Five people, two ordered cups of gumbo to come out before entrees. Ended up they bought out gumbos at the time of everyone elses entrees. I can get over that, expecting our poboys to follow shortly, but it was 10-15 minutes. The other three were finished by the time we got ours. When we got our poboys mine had mayo, which I requested to be held. I sent mine back, thinking itd be a quick fix… nope another 10-15 minutes, at that point I asked for them to make it togo. A manager did come by shortly after Id sent mine back, but she just asked if everyone was ok, well at that point it kind of was what it was and I figured mine would be rushed out so I did not complain. However usually when a manager comes out they apologize about the issues, not sly around hoping no one says anything. Didnt even take mine off the check. Weve all frequented here since opening. Service is usually ok, and the server herself wasnt bad, maybe it was the kitchen. Overall an unpleasant experience, incompetent manager, and I assume kitchen staff thats a joke. Apologize and comp the meal without being asked to when this happens… I dont go out to eat to take mine home due to a restaurants incompetence. Oh, it was a poboy with roast beef and ham… how long does that take to redo? 15 minutes at Acme!

Answered every question with detail especially the entrees and how they were served. I actually couldnt believe how good this guy was. Looking around, all the employees looked happy to be there. Even the oyster shuckers greeted us and held brief convo. Food standard was just as expected and very speedy. If anyone reads this and goes – ask for Travis.
