Atcha is good, but it was the best greek in BR when the previous owner from Kuwait ran it. When the new owners took over a year or 2 ago, they stopped seasoning the chicken well and now use a very mild marinade. The salad dressing is delicious and spicy, so I dip my chicken in it. The gyros is great. Lamb shank is excellent. Their Lebanese tea has too much Country Time lemonade in it. The Baklava is delicious, but we miss the brownies. The dining room was updated nicely in the last year. Service is good. It makes me sad that the staff does not get any of the tips, even the cash in the bucket. It all goes to the house. I work nearby so I come often, just not as often as years ago.UPDATE 3/7/16: I still come to Atcha often and noticed that the chicken is seasoned much more now than it was. So it is much improved! I still love the salad dressing, they have been putting less lemonade in the tea, and the brownies are back some times.

The best greek in BTR. This place is a hole in the wall, but it serves up some excellent food. (All on styrofoam plates I might add.) Try the lamb shank (only on fridays). Salads are great. Sandwiches are good. Hummus rocks. Even the rice is very tasty.

Simply Delicious. Best hummus, $10 lamb shank Fridays, and incredible value.

I have been going to Atchas ever since I started lsu 5 years ago. You just cannot beat their prices. The Friday special lamb shank is much cheaper and far better in taste than some of the other places eg. Al Maza. It can be dry at times!. Atchas is a welcoming place. It’s an experience. I will recommend the gyro over the chicken. Chicken is always dry for some reason . Nicely marinated but dry. Everyone comes to this place from lsu students to professors to professionals. If you go to lsu, you HAVE to go to Atchas. It’s easy on a students pocket

I can only speak for myself but the food was good for the price/value! Sure you can probably find for authentic Greek food but I have to say it was good for the money and the staff treated you with respect which counts for a lot with me!

Yum!. I ate here yesterday with a group of friends who hadn’t been there before. Everyone thought the food was great, and the staff was so nice to us, even though we were being loud and obnoxious. Super sweet people and delicious food for a good price! 5 dollars and you can eat everything!

Not what it used to be. Atcha used to be a great place to get Greek and Lebanese food for cheap. Under new ownership, the prices have gone down further, but so has the quality. You can now get a gyros or chicken wrap combo for $5, but the quality of the ingredients has all gone down. It’s cheap and edible, sure, but that’s all it is now, unfortunately.
