BAD CAKE!. We Have Bought Cakes From Here For Years…And For The Most Part Were Pretty Satisfied-There Were A Few Issues But Usually Minor Ones Like Decorating Not Done Well…Once One Cake Was Way To Salty And I Let It Slide! But!!…Never-The-Less They Were Still Issues!…But This Last One -Just Yesterday Is Unacceptable!!! The Most Nasty Tasting- Weeks Old- Stale- Hard- Dry- Awful Cake I Have Ever Tasted In My Life!!!…SHAME On Y’all For Claiming To Be Professional! It Was Unfit For Human Consumption!…SERIOUSLY!…I Would Have Bought A Walmart Cake And Been More Satisfied !!…The Icing Was So Greasy It Was Seeping And Oozing Out Of The Frosting -All You Could Taste Was Grease!..And Actual Water Droplets We Dripping From Out The Bottom Of Cake!! By The Time We Got It Back -YES! We Took It Back!!!…The Icing On One Whole Side Of Cake Had Literally Rolled Off And The Top Cake Layer Slid Off Of The Bottom Layer.. It Was A Total Nightmare! The Party Was Ruined To Say The Least!!!! I Will NEVER-EVER Patronize This Place Again! A Complete Refund Was Given…The Least They Could Do!!… SHAME!
Rudist woman I ever talked to. I went in Perkins store today and ordered a cake for granddaughter’s birthday. Most unorganizedplace I have ever been in…Woman who said she was cashier but other workers told me she was the manager. COULD THIS HAVE BEEN DIANE LANDRY?….to make this story short told me in essence to sit down over there and shut up. I don’t understand how you can treat your customers in this manner and get away with it. Never again will I order anything…I was in shock today so just paid for it but this is the last time.
Best Bakery in Baton Rouge. Baums is today and always will be the best bakery in Baton Rouge. The Swiss Chocolate Cake is exceptional.
I am a regular at the Florida location and I must say every time I call to place an order I’m greeted with a lovely voice of someone who goes over and beyond. You can tell she isn’t just being nice because its her job. It’s a breathe of fresh air to know that I can call and 9 times out of 10 she answers the phone. Her name is Stephanie. I think Baums should do whatever it takes to keep this sweet young lady!
