Bayou Cafe, Still a Jewel. I recently attended a great Entrepreneurship and Innovation Conference at Southern University (my alma mater) and ran into Mr. Brown, owner of Bayou Cafe. The mere meeting reminded me of the mornings I spent having breakfast some 10 years back, before I moved to Houston. I told Mr. Brown that I would stop by and so I did. To my delight the breakfast was as good as was back in the day and I met some great folks there where we had great conversation. The Bayou is an asset to North Baton Rouge and I recommend it to everyone.Bob Ford

Great spot for good food. Stopped by the Bayou Cafe while passing through Baton Rouge. The food was great and the service was excellent. The menu had a nice variety of item to choose from. Prices very reasonable. Can’t wait to get back to try other Item. A must try!!!!!
This place is over rated, the owner is a jack ass, the owner is very rude to his customers.the food is cold and tast horrible.the only thing that was great was the service,
