Overrated. Hadn’t been in a long time and was not good. So many other places to eat in Baton Rouge that are good. Bang Bang shrimp was the only good thing. Messed up the Sea Bass and was over done.
I was very disappointed with my recent experience here. My fianc took me to Bonefish for my birthday and made reservations for 7. When we arrived, the computer wasn’t working. The hostess said she couldn’t remember where to put us and she sat us at the bar. (There were plenty of open tables in the dining area). The bartender was our server and paid very little attention to us. When we did get our food, my fiancs steak was over cooked. They forgot the side to my meal and I had to wave down the manager to ask for it. Since we were celebrating, we got dessert. Creme brle is my favorite so that’s what we ordered. It tasted like they put some vanilla pudding in a dish and served it…it was even cold. The crab cake and salmon were great but other than that we weren’t very pleased and we will not be returning.
The Diablo pasta was my absolute favorite pasta in Baton Rouge. I was do hurt that they took it off. I brag to my cousin about it and when she came to town we went there specifically for it and was so disappointed we left. Other than that, I like the bang bang shrimp and crab cakes
The bang bang shrimp are DELICIOUS!!! all the other food is wonderful too!! Great service, great food!!
Bang Bang Taco. The tacos was great with the soft shell. The new crispy shell takes away from the taste. The new shell made them very dry. The presentation looks like a kids meal. I was very disappointed.

Hands down … best chain in town! Visited again tonight to check out the new menu items. Shared a Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer (loved the full bed of field greens … that’s been missing for the past year … and the shrimp seemed tastier than usual). We both tried the lobster grilled cheese with lobster bisque. Neither disappointed. The bisque could have benefited from a few visible pieces of lobster, but the flavor was spot on! Such a contrast to the lobster meal we had at another BR restaurant last week. Good job Bonefish!!!
