I really wanted to like this place. I have been a few times with family. The atmosphere is good with a great view if The city. With each visit I was brought to an almost empty dining room. From what I understand there is a new chef. The dishes are hit or miss. Some of the appetizers are great. The smoked salad is my favorite. The main courses really give the feeling that the chef is trying too hard. Almost every dish had some type of sauce or reduction that ruins the dish for me. I can appreciate different styles of cooking, and have an appreciation for culinary arts. But for a restaurant of the Caliber that this place wants to be, it falls well short of your expectations. I’m told that this restaurant is private and is looking to grow its membership with young adults. It will take alot more than what I’ve tastes to persuade me and other I’ve spoken with.
