First time in years I have eaten at Carrabba’s and it may be a few more before I do so againOrdered a Minestrone soup and after one sip I thought my lips would burn off due to so much pepper used, first time I did not finish my soup. Ordered a Veal Masala and whatever lwas left of my lip from burning off from the soup was throughly dissolved after a few bites of the veal and from the accompanying pasta side dish. What is it with Italian restaurants here in Louisiana? Why is so much pepper used in dishes when just a fraction of pepper is needed, not the whole bloody can. Friend ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and when served was brought out they were burnt. Also had no cheese inside them. Yep, the gremlin of Calabria must have sucked out all the cheese from this order. Virtually no cheese in any of the cheese sticks. Returned order and replacement order came out fine. The veal masala had little flavor. Guess that comes from using inexpensive Masala. Veal though was tender I ordered the Mini Cannoli and found it lacking in flavorOverall I doubt I will stop at another Carrabba’s place for at least a year. Maybe then the chain will improve
