The most overrated coffee shop in Baton Rouge. It has all the charm of a bus station. The coffee at Highland Coffee – or even CC’s – is better.
The locals say this place is better than the infamous Cafe Dumonde. The beignets are so fluffy on the inside and perfectly crisp on the outside!!! They use a hefty amount of powdered sugar, and of course there is more on each tables if you want to add extra. Staff members are friendly and coffee, hot chocolate, and cafe au lait is refillable. franklyidgaf.com
