Service needs work, food is great though. Service was horrible the night my husband and I went to dine in. Waited for about an hour, with many tables and booths open. Finally get to our booth, it is not clean, no silverware etc. We ordered and it took about 30 mins to even get the food. Was not super steamy or hot, but it was good. I think the place needs a little direction with employees, more cleanliness.
Crab stuffed shrimp. Third and final time coming to this Copeland’s! The food is just horrible. If I want Copeland I will go to the New Orleans Copeland. Food taste old and half done! !!!

They took a few minutes to notice us when we walked in, as the host was away from his greeting counter. We were seated quickly once he saw us. We waited forever for our food. The waiter offered us a refill for our wait, how nice if her. When it finally came it was cold. The food probably would have tasted better hot. We were excited to try the cheesecake when we arrived but didn’t want to have to wait an additional eternity for them to deliver those plates to our table. The staff was not rude but they did not seem to care that they were providing bad service. We won’t return.
Wife and I just went for cheesecake. Not what we remembered it to be. It was not good. Tasted and looked like it had been sitting in the case for a while with the whip cream sitting on top. Didn’t even get silverware and a cloth napkin. Server told us she didn’t have real silverware spoons to give us so she brought us plastic. No big deal, but not good service. We haven’t had the cheesecake in a while and will not go back again. It used to be so good. What happened?
TO-GO SLACKING. I work next door to Copeland’s so I eat there often (3-5 times a month), as well as much other employees at my company. About 50/50 I dine in and get take-out. The last two times I picked up to-go, the order was incorrect and/or some items in the entree were missing. I don’t think they take much pride in their to-go orders as they do with their regular dining. Also, I really feel that the to-go portions are smaller than the dine-in portions. However, the food and service is usually pretty good when I dine in. I’d hate to reconsider to-go options because their take-out service and prep is not up to par.
Lunch was very disappointing compared to our previous experiences. Food was cold, dishes served were incomplete and the server was distracted.
