I love the plain frozen yogurt at Counter Culture. It has the tang of yogurt and is not overly sweet. The Humphrey is my fave dessert creation there. The honey and perfectly fresh fruit are great additions. I also enjoy their freshly made sandwiches. This isn’t a fancy place, but the food is unfailingly fresh and tasty.

Staff could take some lessons in listening. I have been going to this loction for several years and given them plenty of business. Enjoy the sandwiches as well as yogurt so have continued going and put up with the young, often rude staff. Have to say that they do not listen to orders, leave condiments on when asked to omit, forget the chips, leave out items ordered, and the wait times have gotten excessive! Nine times out of ten, the guy with long hair and beard will take your order and he’s not listening to what you are saying?! Word of advice to that one in particular: spell it out clearly and then repeat! Hope the owner can gain some professional, knowledgable staff who can represent his establishment better. Has great products but the young careless hippies working there, could use a workplace reality check!
I love the Humphrey Yougart
This has to be the worst yogurt in Baton Rouge. Today I was being generous and decided to give Counter Culture another try. My friend raves about the yogurt and having had a so-so experience prior I gave in and tried it again today. Previously I had gotten the yogurt and found it well, crunchy. This time it was just awful. I got the marshmallow and chocolate. Both were creamy so at least that was an improvement from last time but the taste I can’t describe it really. The marshmallow had this awful chemical sweet taste that I had to rinse my mouth out just to get the taste to subside. The chocolate though not as scary as the marshmallow was also very fake tasting. After a spoonful of each I had to throw it away in disgust. The other thing is that they have no good toppings that could even sort of saved this nasty mess. Again this was the worst yogurt ever!!!! Don’t waste your time or money.
Baby Plain Please!!. This is a sentence I say a lot! Love the plain.. every now and then I add some almonds and honey 😉
The best frozen yogurt. You’ll be satisfied with even the smallest size.
