Finally stopped in for a Saturday mid AM meal. I say meal because they were allowing breakfast or lunch at 1030 AM. I had breakfast, she had lunch. Digs are nothing fancy as you have read in other reviews. One thing they really do need though is to redo their ceiling tiles as they are all stained and sagging. It appears some of them could fall on your table at any time. Cross section of young, old, couples, workers in enjoying a meal.Friendly service was noticeable as we dined.I had the normal two egg, grits, biscuits and sausage breakfast and all was as ordered and biscuits were hot and fluffy. Only thing not needed was putting my grits in a styrofoam bowl on my plate. Kinda weird. She had the seafood plate with C-fish, shrimp and crab claws. Mashed taters and fried okra. A limp piece of toast came with it. Seafood all good but the taters were not. Instead of the bread bring a nice corn muffin or biscuit please. Fried okra not all that crisp but good.I had coffee and could tell it was not Community. Very bitter but still better than some places.We will return and try some other menu items but they are only open till 3 PM Monday-Thursday.
