I’ve eaten here thousands of times and had some fantastic lunches and dinners. I’ve moved out of the neighborhood and now have small rug rats , so I don’t get to visit like in the past. It’s always a wonderful experience, and if it’s not..they will fix it. Last evening, I had the Roasted garlic appetizer.. still the best after 15 years. I love the butter steak ( I upgrade the side of GOP pasta to Pesto!) My mom always goes for the muffuletta ( that’s my fave for lunch) Still love this little gem after 25 years! Get there early, like 5:45, or you’ll have a wait. ( Great bar/wine selection)

I think this is my favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge. Not a big place. Gets packed at night. The smallness of the place helps create a neat atmosphere. Helps to go early, or be prepared to wait. I especially like the fish specials.

Coming from a foodie: this hole in the wall southern Italian dive is to die for!! DiGiulio’s has a great ambiance… The lighting, the regulars, the food, the great wine, it’s a dining experience is recommend to locals and visitors alike. Everything is good… And I’ve had it all! The meatballs are divine… The pizza, the homemade bread, the house salad, the osso bucco, the veal piccata, muffuletta… The red sauce. It’s the best Italian food around.

DON’T waste your money or time. Poor service. Giant meatball had very high ratio of filler to meat. Mushy. Little flavor. Caesar salad supposed to be large but was undersized for the price, and not good. Too many good restaurants in town that are so much better.

Not like it used to be. I went to Di Giulio Brothers for a family outing..our waitress was pretty bad, the food was mediocre, and it was over $60 for two adults and a toddler (no drinks/dessert). Not a fan anymore

Outstanding food and service. Real Italian food.

Will give them another chance BUT our first time certainly leaves a lot to be desired.Son summed it up best…..entrees all about $4-$5 more than they should be at a minimum.Service was C- at best. No communicating about any specials on the board at all. Weird.Took my sparkling water bottle still half full. No bread until we asked twice after entrees brought out. Food lukewarm.Calamari fried app served in under two minutes. Not kidding.Entrees out fast too. Nothing memorable. Did we get full? Yes. Are we dying to go back? No.$143 for this meal was a stretch.Looks as if they won’t miss us but there has to be better Italian in BR.
