Been on my bucket list for two years now and finally visited for a holiday business lunchtime.Frankly surprised but also delighted by the casual digs as you walk in the joint. Joint is a good word. Felt right at home. Much bigger that it appears from the outside too.We had great service from our waiter on this trip to start off and enjoyed some fine meats. They have the meats to coin a phrase. The other star of the show was the tamales, best I think I have ever had. Came with a nice chili topper you spoon on as well. Perfect ratio of masa and innards. Delish. 5 star. Two split the big ribeye at $26 a lb. one got the filet which really looked fab sitting high on the plate and cooked perfectly coming with hand cut fries. I think $38. I opted for the more frugal lunch hamburger steak with small amount of fried onions and hand cuts. Opted out of mashed and gravy on side. Basically steak ground up and could not even finish. $13.95.Nice cold Community Iced Tea on hand too. All in all a great first time and plan is to hit them soon for dinner. Thanks for a great meal.

Perfectly cooked, simple steak. Seasoned just enough to give it a little flavor, but not enough to take away from the meat. Our server was also very nice and has a wonderful personality.
