While the decor is dated, the Drusilla chilled platter was excellent. The waitress gladly substituted additional boiled shrimp for the raw oysters. The food came out promptly and was well seasoned.
Drusillas is very good. Atmosphere is old fashioned and cozy.
We had a great server but i expected more from this restaurant. While the food was above average the dining room is like an old folks home.
Monday night special. Raw oysters on the half shell….. Ice cold. In my dreams. When served they smelled fishy. Checked them And they were room temp!!! Sent them back and ate a few rock hard hush puppies. Second serving was cold and hush puppies fine. But won’t go back for awhile.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! I will never go back to this restaurant. The best thing about my meal was the water I had to drink. The food was nasty (fried shrimp tasted frozen) , service wasn’t good at all. I haven’t been to Drusilla seafood in a while & now I’m wishing I would have kept it that way. This was my last time.

Terrible food. We were there 2 couples and a 9 year old, watied 45 minutes for our food, had to ask twice to check on it. I ordered their famous bar-b-que shrimp and it was so bad no one at the table could eat it. We ordered their $11 sampler and it had 6 pieces on the plate and 2 were the hush puppies. This was the worse meal we have ever had in Baton Rouge. I noticed that several other tables had complained to the managerab out something before we ordered, this should have been a hint to leave. Would never go there again.
