My wife and I went to Flemings to celebrate our wedding anniversary tonight and that’s the one decision I regret making in this past year. Our server was basically a broom stick with a tie. We were never made to feel welcome, were checked in on by him once, and he was the least friendly waited I’ve had in ages. If you’re paying $150+ on a meal, and they know it’s your anniversary, say congratulations, smile, be cordial, do something. For that price being pretty low for them, they sure didn’t make you feel like they cared about your money. As for the food… Meh. It was something anyone could cook in their own kitchen. Nothing special, but it’s the service, not food or even prices that would stop me from returning. FYI managers, quiet service doesn’t mean good service.

Worst experience. Reservation was made for 8:15pm…We were seated at 8:45pm. Our first course which was salad came out at 9:30pm. There was a breakdown in management in the kitchen and floor. Further….I don’t know what the franchise is think when that put that French cheese onion soup on the menu…Had no taste and the texture of melting cheese is not pleasant….not to mention that is way way way too salty for anyone on our table. Poor poor for finer dining establishment. The only thing nice is the bread and steak that came out…it was perfect…thank God for that.

Very Good. It’s not my favorite. That being said, it’s a fine steak restaurant. The dinning area is pretty loud, but I really like the decor and setup. The calamari is a tasty app, and every salad I’ve tried has been exceptional. The steak is great, but oddly, on one occasion it was seriously overly salted. Service is top notch. I’ll definitely return.

I used to love this place but unfortunately it is going on my blackballed list. If I am going to pay $51.50 for a steak, I want it to be edible. My New York Strip Steak was so salty that I couldn’t eat it. Maybe the cook came from Sullivan’s but I certainly didn’t expect that.

Lamb. My fianc and I went here for VDay, the lamb chops are sooooooo good. It tasted like they freshly killed a lamb and threw it on a grill. Also, the service was swift. Though I must warn you, DO NOT get the aged steak. It is NASTY. I could have gotten a better steak from Applebee’s.

Really not that good. My wife and I went for an anniversary meal. i have taken some of my clients here before and it has been good; not Ruth’s Chris, but good. We started with the lobster tempura appetizer and both had salads. They were ok. My wife ordered the ahi tuna and I ordered the special; New York strip blackened with shrimp on top; on top of asparagus. Her tuna was good, my steak was terrible. I think this is supposed to be prime steaks. As soon as I cut into the steak I should have sent it back. It was tough and fatty. I would have sent it back but the time between our appetizer and salads to when we were served our main course took forever. I don’t mind paying for a really good meal, but this was not good at all. If you want a really good PRIME steak, go to Ruth’s Chris. They are always consistent.

Happy Hour. I can confidently say that, for the price, the happy hour burger is the BEST burger in Baton Rouge. I’ve eaten in the main restaurant before and it is truly delicious…chain or not.
