BR local sushi take out. I am a long time fan of sushi and have been to many great sushi restaurants! I’ve been to many around the Baton Rouge area. I have to say I was very please with the freshness and presentation of the sushi rolls. I order the MAJOR roll which was absolutely amazing. The smoked salmon skin was a little chewy but still good. Also, I had the Philadelphia roll and spicy yellowtail roll. Everything was so great and reasonably price. I ordered take out and I was given a box with soy sauce, eel sauce, spicy mayo, and siracha! No complaints here! Nothing but love for Ginza. Definitely will be back!
Great Sushi. I love both the sushi and hibachi here. The sushi lunch special is pretty cheap for quality sushi.
We used to go here quite often and even bring our friends. However, the service has consistently declined lately and we last got sick after eating here.
Too short staffed to keep up.. My family just spent about 40 minutes in this place NOT eating. The owner stopped us as we were trying to go upstairs to the front entrance and made us go through a back way (shortcut) so that when we got in, we were not noticed by anyone working there. We sat down and It was probably 15 minutes later before we even had drinks. At this point, everyone who had come in after us had their orders taken. Another 10 minutes before a senile old no English speaking lady came to take food orders. She had passed our table at least 5 times before saying she was going to get with us. We finally were able to tell her we had a Groupon at which point she tells us it’s for a whole different section (hibachi) of the restaurant. So we had to pack up and go over there where we find out the menu is quite limited, who cares, now we’re starving. Another 10 minutes or so and nobody showed up. At this point we had finished our drinks, so we got up and left. Nobody noticed. My girlfriend paid for the drinks, I was so mad at her for that. These people wasted a good 90 minutes of my day, a good bit of gasoline, and treated us like crap. I am not going there again. Even if I wanted to, our schedules prevent us from going on the hours specified in our Groupon for another two weeks anyway. I’m getting a refund on this groupon. I wouldn’t go back there if they paid me to eat there.
Great sushi. Second favorite sushi place!! You have got to try the tuna mountian!! It’s not on the menu , but trust me it will make your head spin!
Best hibachi I’ve seen and very tasty. I chef’s little song was stuck in our head for weeks! Definitely would eat there again. Worth every dime.
Slightly more expensive than most sushi places, but definitely worth it! All of the dragon rolls are delicious. The snow crab egg rolls and steamed shrimp gyoza appetizers are always great. And for anyone that enjoys green tea, their hot green tea is wonderful. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
