Disgusting. Really disappointed because it’s so close. Not worth even the low price you pay. Also took over an hour for delivery, which seems to be a problem for them.
Literally the worst customer service ever. I spent an hour and a half waiting for delivery that was suppose to be 30 mins. I called twice and the first time the guy was really rude then the 2nd time he said the driver is here and wants to talk to you (even though the first guy said he was on his way an hour ago) and gave some excuse about not coming. The first guy got back on the phone and refused any sort of discount. I finally just said forget it and cancel the whole order. I’m so upset about how the whole thing was handled and no way was a resolution offered. I will never go there again.
I’m still waiting for my food that I ordered an hour and 45 minutes ago. We called an hour ago, they told us the food was on the way. When we called back to check on it, because we live 5 minutes away, they told us they actually hadn’t left yet. Lying to customers is unacceptable. Canceled our order and they didn’t even attempt to fix the situation. Save your money; there are plenty of other great restraunts in the area.
This place has been a favorite of mine for years. They make the best crab rangoons I have ever had and I can’t find a place that even compares.
Quick and tasty. We order delivery fairly regularly from Great Taste. There are certain items that are better than others; I wouldn’t recommend any seafood dish. (We got teeny tiny shrimp encased in huge pillows of breading one time, and another time they were large but sauteed/overcooked to the point of falling apart.) But the fried rice is good, as is the sweet and sour chicken. We also like to get the spicy sauteed vegetable dish but request it with brown sauce instead of the spicy sauce – very good. They are incredibly fast and very reasonably priced.The one thing that I’ve just had to accept as a quirk of our favorite Chinese delivery place is… the person working the front desk has two phones. He or she will often answer the phone, start to take your order, then ask you to please hold mid-order, then answer the other phone and take half of another order. I’ve never had to wait longer than a minute or so, but it is a little odd.
Great Taste Not So Great. I didn’t think it was bad for a tiny restaurant, because I always used them for delivery. But THIS time, one of my orders was fried TOO hard. When I called about it, I was told it had to be fried hard to make sure the inside was done. We’re talking about thin, catfish fillets. I had to remind them that I wasn’t a first time customer, and that I didn’t accept that excuse. They even tried to get me to BRING my order back for replacement! We ended up waiting another 45 minutes for another order of fish. This will certainly be my last time ordering from them.
