WORST SEAFOOD GUMBO!!. First time customer, and went to eat today for my birthday with my cousin. On the menu it stated #1 Seafood Gumbo. So I ordered, and it was by far the WORST SEAFOOD GUMBO, I have ever had. Gumbo was the consistency of water, and had 2 shrimp in the large bowl. Will never return!!
Poboys are EXCELLENT. I visited Heads & Tails today for the gumbo, but decided to try the Heads & Tails Combo (1/2 poboy with cup of seafood gumbo) and absolutely adored the shrimp poboy. Wow! It was incredible. Hot, fresh, WELL SEASONED and delicious. Perfect blend of everything. Service was also incredibly friendly. I can’t wait to visit again!
Incredible true Louisiana cookin. Best place in town must try
Best food in Baton Rouge!!! I’ve eaten all over this city and Heads & Tails Seafood by far has the best traditional Louisiana cuisine! Better than the chimes, drusilla seafood, walk on’s, etc!!!!
Great!!. Try everything!! Hush puppies are awesome! Gumbo, shrimp, catfish…everything is great!great people.great food!!
A gem off the beaten path. My husband and I decided to eat here when we were in search of a famed Muffalotta sandwich. They told us that their sandwich was better than any in New Orleans. I’m not usually a fan of Italian meats and I was skeptical but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were right. I since had a bite of a muff in NO and it wasn’t nearly as good. I’d like to make it out and try some of the specialty meats that they sell in the front room.
Good Gumbo, but the rest of the meal was mediocre. Overcooked fried shrimp, and not the freshest fries, very ordinary salad. Grilled wonder bread garlic bread. Maybe best for a gumbo lunch.
