The flavors are all there, the staff is very nice and the location is prime. But there’s one thing that keeps me away and it’s the bread to filling ratio. There is so little filling within each pastry that I have to cut out half of the bread and discard it. Both for the savory and sweet selections. Even the boudain kolaches are only lightly stuffed and each bite is just a mouthful of bread. I stop by every six months or so to see if they’ve improved.
Kolache Kitchen, I really wanted to be able to give these guys all the best, they are very hospitable and the menu is nice for what it is. Then I received the product, chorizo and egg tortilla. It was good, if that means anything. The chorizo was not chorizo, to me it didn’t have any flavor of chorizo at all in fact the flavor over all was savory and neutral. I will give it another try I really liked the people they seemed like they wanted to give nothing but the best.
