Hope you like shrimp. Seriously has to be the worst buffet I’ve ever eaten. 5 different types of shrimp dishes, all overcooked and rubbery. Very little to choose from otherwise. Burnt food everywhere. I spent $22 and ate a small salad. Terrible.
Birthday Boy. This was our first time to go here and to the casino. We enjoyed the tasty food on the buffet and the many choices for breakfast, lunch and desserts. $2 senior discount and the complimentary Merlot and Champaign was a nice treat The service was a very nice experience from everyone when in the line, our table and those working the buffet! We will be back 🙂
Overpriced, no selection,. This is just about the poorest excuse for a buffet and to charge $30 a pop just add to it. It’s just an excuse to get more money from a captive audience Just go the the steak house do $10 more per person at least you get a decent meal
To say the food was a disappointment would be an understatement. I’m fairly certain most of the food is out of a box and just heated up. The boiled crawfish were ok, but we weren’t there to pile drive crawfish. The fried oysters were not edible. As was the stuffed crab. The raw oysters on the bar looked like they were carrying a strain of flesh eating bacteria. I would not attempt to eat here ever again nor would I recommend this place. I could have had a fabulous dinner somewhere else for the price of that garbage.
Sunday Brunch. Tried the buffet for the first time today. The breakfast food was pretty good, especially the grits. A few other things, like the seaweed salad and veggie hash, were pretty good too. Glad we gave it a try. Would probably go back for one of the other themed nights. At least now know what things to avoid, like the boiled shrimp, and what things to load up on next time
Took forever to get drinks – refills were begrudging at best. Food was below sub-par. They absolutely murdered the shrimp by overcooking them ridiculously. All other items I tried were similarly disappointing. Save your time, money, and calories for someplace else.
Great food. Horrible service. We’ve been to L’auberge 3 times for the seafood buffet and we were not happy with the service all 3 times. The waiter/waitress only got us drinks and pretty much forgot about us the whole time.
