Great. The food was excellent. The service was great. I did not however enjoy how small the room we were in was. The room had three tables, all the tables were full and it was almost awkward to talk because you felt like you were being to loud. But other than that, it was great.

Fantastic and authentic French food! We had the shrimp ravioli, venison sausage, and salmon appy’s and the wild boar chop, and antelope steak – everything was amazing. Service was great too, nice quiet atmosphere. We will be back soon!

Awesome. My husband and I celebrated our 41 anniversary here last night. Not only was the server beyond gracious, the food was fawless. This is the first time I have ever written a review. This was such a wonderful experience I felt I needed to share. I am the hardest person to please in all restaurants. Everyone waited to hear my criticism. I could not find anything to criticize. You really need to visit it will be worth it. We will be back and soon.Thank you for a great night!

Love this place. I really love this place- the atmosphere is a big factor for me. It’s just so sweet and cozy… but most importantly the food is SOOOOOO good. It’s small and intimate- may be too intimate for some… the restaurant is a little house so you can hear everything- like the conversations next to you… it certainly not the place to go if you want to be loud and act an ass… I passed the place and wondered what was up with that cute little house on N Harrell’s Ferry of all places. I realized it was a restaurant, pulled over and went inside. It was so cute, i made reservations weeks later. I’ve been to Maison three times in the past 7 months. I can’t wait until the next time. I recommend reservations. Never went for lunch but I’m sure it’s wonderfulI do think the wait staff could be stronger. Many seem like young kids- some get it and some don’t.

Great food, but small portions.. I finally got the chance to check this place out with the family a few days ago, and while I left very impressed with the flavors and food, the portion sizes just were underwhelming. We started with some venison sausage, which was okay but probably the low point of the meal. The meat was a little crumbly and the mustard sauce didn’t seem to add much to it. I still enjoyed the sausage flavor a lot, just not quite on their A-game with this one.Shortly after the appetizer the salad arrived… a house salad with a vinaigrette dressing, a few leaves of lettuce with tomatoes and pecans. I really enjoyed the pecan & vinaigrette flavor together, but it was really only about 4 leaves of lettuce. Hardly enough to call a salad it seemed more like a garnish. The steak, on the other hand, was fantastic. I ordered the filet with buerre rouge & crawfish tails and everything about the meat was perfect. The sauce was excellent and the crawfish tails added a nice change in flavor and texture to contrast with the well cooker filet. The steak came with veggies on the side, but again this was weak. A small potato, 5 green beans, and one slice of carrot was all. Really? I didn’t expect a whole bowl of veggies but I really was looking for a little more on the side here.I also had a chance to try a bit of the lamb shank, and that was the best flavor of the night… if I go back, I’m going to lamb route for sure! All in all I left satisfied, but be wary that you’re not going to get a lot of food.
