To me this Mexican spot is the best in town! Great service, Good food, nice people! Everytime I’m in the mood for Mexican I go here! The quesadillas are always on point and the tacos! And if you dine in the Chips and Salsa is a must and the horchata!

If you are looking for fancy fusion style tex mex, than this is not your place, but if you want traditional Mexican food, you will not be disappointed, I PROMISE! This place is a small Mexican grocery store with a kitchen in the back. Between the two are 6-8 bench style booths reminiscent of the wood vaneer ones located in a 1980’s Dairy Queen. No frills, just awesome authentic Mexican food. You can choose from a list on an overhead menu, or there are also folded portable table menu. You only need make two choices. Your choice of protein or meat.Asada (steak strips), Pastor (spit shaved rotisserie), Lingua (beef tongue), Tripas (intestines), Barbacoa (shredded bbq style pork, beef cheek, or lamb, depending on where you are), milaniza (usually like chicken fried round steak), chicharron (pork skins), pollo (chicken), chorizo (red fresh sausage), or Jamon (dry cured ham). Your choice of meat transport.Tacos,Tortas,Gorditas,Burritos,Quesadillas,Platillos,Or Tostados.I prefer the tacos, simple because they are small and I can get three or four different meats. I will include a picture. All come with cilantro, diced fresh onions, and lime wedges on the side to squeeze over the tacos. From left to right in my picture. Barbacoa, Pastor, and Tripas. Before you say, tripe?!?!, really. Don’t knock it until you try it. Out of the three magnificent choices I made, the tripe was the best, hands done. Put your scepticism and snootiness to the side and I promise it will open your eyes to what Mexican food really tastes like before we Americans got a hold of it and started making stuff like hard tacos and nachos. By the way, I know I did say you have only two choices to make, but I did notice one lady eating a nice salad and another Latino fella with a bowl of soup, so there are more options, but I chose the overhead menu. God bless and good eating!
