Hands down worst service EVER! Food definitely not worth the wait either. I ordered bananas Foster french toast. Was served pre-made french toast sticks, with carmalized sugar glaze and fresh bananas sliced on top. Nothing like what was decribed on menu. Waiter totally ignored us for the TWO HOURS we were stuck there in agony!!!

My friends and I went to Olive or Twist for brunch. We got there right when it opened at 11 and were seated quickly. It quickly became crowded in the restaurant and very loud. I couldn’t hear what anyone at my table was saying. Our server was great, she was very attentive. We all got the bottomless craft mimosas which sounded like a good idea in theory. It took a very long time for each round to get to our table. Each cocktail is made from scratch so it does take longer and they were really busy. We were ordering our next round as soon as we received our drinks because it took so long. My food was decent. I ordered the buttermilk biscuit sliders with fruit. I’m not sure what the orange sauce was on the biscuits but it didn’t taste like anything and made eating the biscuits messy. I’m not really sure if I’m willing to go back or not.

Lots to choose from! Great atmosphere! Was told menu will be getting updated pretty soon. Had the modern Old Fashion which was decent. I can’t say it was good or bad as I haven’t had one before. Date had the El Bulevar but was made differently as the Tequila in this drink was discontinued off their menu. Great service and will definitely be back!

***Sundays29 Mar, 2015I dig this place. Food is good. Service is good. Solid drinks specials, especially on Sunday’s for brunch. They always have LSU sports on when available with good music in the background. Give it a try. You’ll be back.

Something is wrong at the bar here with the inattentive to a fault service levels on a Saturday night. It was astounding to be ignored with no eye contact at all for over an hour while man bun complained and watched his phone and TV with zero work in an hour plus, while the rest chatted and milled about until you could catch them for any service at all. Seems there must have been an ownership or mgt change as the intimacy and bartender interaction is gone. Also, listening while one of them complains about other customers the whole time you are there is not enjoyable. My bourbon flight was just thrown down in front of me with no explanation or commentary at all. Wife enjoyed her Bleeding Heart cocktail. (Not sure that was the name)I will say the two food items we ordered were very good…..brined fried chicken breast with brussel sprouts and bacon and a Cobb Salad.Again, after we finished eating, shoved our plates sideways and had no drinks we sat for over 15 minutes trying to see if we could order dessert cocktails but it was not to be so we checked out.Thank goodness the Astros game was on one TV. We will certainly return and hope this is a minor hiccup. If not then we will not be regulars anymore.Food 4Drinks 4Service 1Averages to a 3. Peace.

Great place, service needs work. This place has a great atmosphere and the drinks are all excellent. The food is better than i ever expected. That being said, i would give this place 5 stars had the staff talked to us and made me feel welcome. Instead they all talked among themselves and i had to practically wave my arms around to get any attention. This is unacceptable and rude. Should they fix this problem I would happily return.

I like this place. The drinks are great and bartenders are friendly but the owner is an ass. He needs to improve on his social skills. Other than that it’s a nice place to wind down at and have a good time.
