The California roll was not great, but every else was fantastic. We had the hot and sour soup, the cumin spicy pork, and the garlic eggplant. The cumin pork was the best thing. It was easily one of the best pork dishes I’ve ever eaten. It was sweet, spicy, savory, perfectly cooked, just perfect.
VERY GOOD FOOD. Let me start by saying that the food is very good. I really enjoyed what I ordered (sweet and sour pork, sesame chicken, and stir fried green beans). In addition to the food I ordered, I was offered a complimentary bowl of soup and a fruit dessert. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I also noticed that there were several tables of Asians eating at the restaurant. I know it’s a stereotype, but I always have been told that the presence of Asians eating in an Asian restaurant is a good indicator that the food is good. Such was the case in this instance. This restaurant offers both a Chinese and Japanese menu. My one critique (which has nothing to do with the excellent food) is the physical condition of the place. Although spacious, the interior has that late eighties/early nineties cheesy look to it. They really should do some updating. This building has hosted a series of failed restaurants. Perhaps Omi owners may need to find a better location.
Great food….. All dishes are fresh and extremely flavorful…… Black pepper steak was one of the best Chinese Meals I have had
This place was great. The service was fantastic. It couldn’t have been any better. The sashimi was pretty good and the hibachi was great.
Very delicious Chinese food and great sushi too. One of my favorite places!
