Panera is a fast-casual chain, but nevertheless I was very excited when they finally opened in BR. I typically come here for comfort & carbs, which Panera excels at. They make national modifications to their menu pretty regularly, so there are always some interesting new things depending on the season. I definitely don’t come in here for a cold sandwich and a side salad – it’s the broth bowls, the soups, the mac and cheese, the flatbreads, and the pressed sandwiches that make Panera a nice alternative for lunch or dinner when you want something casual without table service.Overall, I find myself coming back to Panera because I find them very consistent. I can always order something that I know I’ll like, the staff is pleasant to deal with, there’s never more than a 10 minute wait for food unless it’s packed, and the restaurant is always clean. It’s a tad expensive for a quick-ish meal (average of $10-12 for one person), but it’s also easy to order a couple things and share if that’s what you’re into. Pro tip: this is a Pepsi establishment (I always order a water).

Yeah, doubt I’ll go back. First off, I placed the order online thinking I could pick it up in the drive-thru. Nope! Turns out you have to go inside to pick it up, which is really embarrassing when you’re barefoot and in your pajamas because you thought you didn’t have to go in. Soup was ok, but nothing fantastic. They didn’t put the dressing with my salad so it turned out pretty bland. Would think that they would double-check to-go orders to make sure everything’s there, but obviously not. Not worth the price or the trip.

Used to love it. It’s gone downhill for sure. Drive thru orders look like slop in a box. Can’t stress how messy and sloppy the sandwiches look. They don’t care and it shows. I work nearby and every time I decide to give it one more shot or I am desperate I instantly regret it. People are typically rude every time. Seems like no one wants to be there…I get it who wants to be at work but this coupled with the food is enough to not go back. Wish they would get it together too bc it would be very convenient.

I heard so much about this place from a friend who had one in another state she lived it. It was just OK. The cinnamon roll was the best thing. The sandwiches seemed like frozen food to me. The salad was pretty good. Not in love. But didn’t hate. Forgot to mention in my review that I tried to go for dinner one day and when I got in, they told me they were closed for cleaning. Was odd.

Typical over process food. I was hoping that this would be a bit different from other big name chains. But this has been very disapointing. I have dined there four times (only at the request of others). It is just simply a fast food chain, nothing new here. They have had to rely on gimicks (such as a rewards card) to get on the fence patrons to return with reward scam. I would rather return on the merit of food quality, and that will not happen. Mass produced food that is shipped in by trucks isn’t real food, but porcessed garbage. When there is a drive thru lane, it is just another fast food chain. No thanks.

This is not a TYPICAL PANERA!!!!. I was so excited about Panera coming to the BR area because it has been my favorite lunch spot for years. HOWEVER, this panera is not typical. They don’t get your order correct in the drive-thru – so make sure you do a THOROUGH CHECK before you pull off. This has happened to me several times at this location 🙁 (They forget your condiments too – such as the greek salad dressing that comes with the greek salad). The workers are unprofessional and need to be trained before working there!

Great company, but this store has trouble. I’ve been told something different every time I’ve been there, and haven’t had a single order correct when I go through the drive through. Once I had to pay for three sandwiches instead of my own, because they already had hold of my credit card and wouldn’t give it back. If they are a bakery, why is it that if you try to buy two loaves of bread you’re told by a manager that you’re inconsiderate and should’ve called ahead? I was hassled once by that same manager about buying three bagels. She asked me if I was having a party.
