Ralph & Kacoos is a great place to bring out-of-town guests for good Louisiana food. Not the place for a diet though. Everything Ive had here has been great. Especially the crabmeat augratin and stuffed shrimp. Desserts are so good. Atmosphere is traditional. Lobby has a great Louisiana gift shop too. I like the fish tanks, especially in the bar area. Service is usually very good.

R&K’s had long been one of my faves from years ago. My family and I ate there tonight. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. My only complaint was the creme brle. It had a bad taste to it.

We were looking food good Louisiana seafood and we got it here. The firecracker shrimp and onion ring appetizer were great! Some of the best flavor of a firecracker/bang bang we have had! The onion rings were also tasty and their homemade ranch dressing is awesome! Fresh hush puppies also come as a complimentary appetizer and they were good. I ordered the Bourbon Mahi Mahi with shrimp and the cajon potato and it had great flavor! The fish was slightly over cooked but I preferred it that was come to find out. My only peve was we wanted grilled shrimp instead of fried for a kids meal and the waiter made it happen but didn’t tell us it went from a $5.99 kids meal to a $17.99 adult meal.

Best hush-puppies ever! Wait staff is always friendly. Steak is always cooked accurately and served hot. Blackened gator is good too. This place is one of our go-to’s.

I can’t tell you how the food is since I walked out after 15 minutes. Friendly waitress seated us. 15 minutes later we were walking out the door – no greeting from a waiter, no drinks, no bread, nothing. It wasn’t because they were busy, the restaurant was nearly empty. Waiters were sitting around just chatting it up like there was nothing to do – probably won’t be long before the doors shut on this establishment. SAD!

Came in on a Sunday around 6:30pm. Parking lot nearly empty, restaurant also empty. Friendly hostess seated us immediately. Could see 5 waiters from my seat. 1 finishing up with a large party, chatting with them while they boxed up their food. 1 bringing bread basket to another table in our room. 1 waiter seated at a table with another waiter standing around chatting with each other. And one other who didn’t seem to be doing anything. We were never greeted by any of them and left after 15 minutes without having been offered water or bread! Please do yourself a favor and believe the bad reviews, wish we had!

Ralphs. The takeout crab fingers were the smallest, most pitiful things I have ever seen. The seafood on the salad wa sabout half of what you get in house.Never do take out from this place.
