The Best Greek and Lebanese in town. The Chicken Shawarmas and Grilled Shrimps – the best ever at the GOVERNMENT ST. location! I always order this with hummus and grilled tomato. This location is quite and nice for family and friends night out. The staff is great and I always leave smiling and stuff. Thank you guys for having delicious food!!! P.S your number one customer
The best Greek and Lebanese in Baton Rouge. I’ve been here so many times, it’s definately my favorite resturaunt. almost every bit of food is good, the staff is friendly and helpful, the ambience is fantastic. quiet appropriate music plays softly in the background, za’taar ,olive oil, and balsamic vinegar (and good balsamic) on every table. The food is by far and long some of the best I’ve ever had.
My party of 4 was refused service at 8:45 on a Saturday night. They are inexplicably closed on Sundays. It was good, however, the one time I managed to make it during business hours
2 thumbs up!. Roman’s Cafe on Government is my favorite venue for Mediterranean food in BR – not only because it is close to my home, but because the quality of the food is fantastic. Let’s be frank. Their closest rival (in taste, not geography) is Albasha, by far. Roman’s offers a much more varied selection of side dishes which are beautifully prepared and presented. Although the staff seems to turn over frequently, they are always solicitous without being overbearing. This is my go to place.
The chicken shawama salad is the best salad I every tasted! Seriously!
As a long time albasha customer, i never thought of any other restaraunt, when it came to lebanese. Roman’s blew them out of the water, however. I prefer the caf abience, and the food is amazing.
A favorite. This place is a gem that might not catch your eye from its outside appearance but is well worth the trip. The food tastes great and you get plenty of it for a good price. The service is great and I enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Two thumbs up.
