Stopped in for lunch with my daughter and was really pleased! The atmosphere was lovely! It was relatively low-key with Classical Japanese music in the background. My daughter commented on how nice the patio seating was.Our server, Sophia, was excellent: attentive, warm, and prompt, but not intrusive. I asked her about a couple of items on the menu and found her responses helpful and accurate. The Harumaki (vegetable spring rolls) were amazing! They had the perfect delicate crispness desired and made me want to try the tempura (next visit). The Tuna Tataki was perfectly prepared. We selected house salads (will try the Miso next time) and we’re pleased. The lettuce was very fresh and was nicely complimented by the slightly citrusy ginger dressing. We were both found our sushi to be outstanding. Beth chose the LSU roll and I selected the Futomaki (one of my favorites and a rarity in BR) and a California roll with Masago added. We were too full for dessert this time, but are looking forward to trying the Tempura ice cream, Mochi, and Banana Tempura. The prices were very reasonable and lunch specials are offered Mon-Fri from 11a to 3p.We will DEFINITELY be back!

First time in and stopped in due to the outside being very inviting and fun. The inside was very nice and added a lot to our visit to this new Sushi and more eatery in the now Sushi Quadrangle with three others within a block or two. They were out of not one, not two but all five Japanese beers which was a bit of a downer. One size hot sake in larger carafe for $6.99.All sushi and sashimi was very fresh and tasty. Two rolls, sushi app and sashimi app.Mochi and Ramune on menu! Mochi is one piece quartered for $3.50.Some price disconnects but overall a very inviting menu. More in four star range foodwise but dinged for five beer outage and a bill miscommunication after the meal.May give Ichiban a run for their money in the sushi race in BR.Will return.
