Folks this is a spot you should visit! The Philly cheese steak sandwiches are absolutely delectable. I ordered mines with grilled onion/mushrooms and cheese whiz. The bread was moist and chewy without ever getting soggy! The steak is the star!! Not too pricey and worth every penny. Outstanding Grub!
OMG!! This place is so good! Love the shrimp poboy but the wings are to die for! I love that try play Klove radio, good family friendly environment and the owner is very nice!!!
Finally stop by South of Philiy and I couldn’t be any happier with this place. The food is great and the service is reminiscent of the past. The workers want to talk to you and know how your day is going. They are more than really to help you decide and let you try things. If you like cheese steaks or burgers, this place is a must!!
Love the cheesesteak and the cheese whiz you can get for your fries. The bread is perfectly toasted. Service is their strong point, which pleasantly surprises me. I hadn’t been in since they updated it and it looks very nice inside. The parking situation is very bad. Overall, love it.
Every spot in Philly that I went to was a dump….they have apparently fix their cooking issues. Both my cheese steaks tonight were great. Used to be one of my favorites, but new ownership ruined my favorite sandwich. The Tiger Steak no longer has tiger sauce? So it’s dry and NOT worth the high price. When it was good, I was willing to pay for the overpriced sandwich because it was just that good. I gave them a second chance after a while (and maybe even a third, can’t remember) because I soooo wanted it to be good again, but still no good.
False advertising!!!!. My husband is in Baton Rouge with work for two days and today is our 2 year anniversary. He is not a flower guy, but loves cheesesteak. I looked for places that delivered food to surprise him with a meal of his liking. Found South of Philly in Baton Rouge, the website says it delivers and the hotel is just around the corner from them at Sleep Inn, by interstate 12 and airline dr. I called the place and the lady said they do not deliver in Baton Rouge. So why are you advertising that you do. Very sad and disappointed. Maybe you should remove this service. Thanks
