Embarrassed that this is my favorite BR restaurant and I havent done a review yet. Cant say enough about it. Every restaurant should use this place as a model of service and personality. Oh, and the food is exceptional. Get on their email list and go – OFTEN.
I am a fan of Ruth’s Chris, but my sister talked me into trying Sullivan’s to see how it compared. It was good, but not better. I had a medium petite filet, and it was cooked perfectly, but seasoned more than I like. I like to taste the meat more than salt. I had the crabmeat topping and was disappointed that it was plain/steamed and not very flavorful. I prefer Ruth Chris’ crabmeat topping because it is more sinful and buttery. I also prefer butter on my hot, sizzling steak, and this place did not have that. The bread on the table was great, as well as the iced tea. I liked the classic atmosphere. The service was well above average. The manager checked on us as well. It was an enjoyable meal, but for a good steak and a need to splurge, it didn’t top Ruth’s Chris for me. But that’s a lot to live up to.Update: I came to Sullivan’s for Easter brunch and the special menu was delicious. Service was excellent. Really great deal for kids meals for Easter. We really enjoyed it.
