Simply the best Tex-Mex in Baton Rouge. Nice atmosphere, attentive (but not intrusive) servers, and a decent selection of liquor. While known for their Tex-Mex, they also have excellent ribs, burgers, steaks, and pork chops.

Alright… We’ve been to the New Orleans location and this one is definitely nicer inside. I had high hopes based on the reviews and location. I knew the prices are a little higher than most tex-mex places but for $160 for 6 people at lunchtime… I sure do expect better quality meats. I’m a big fajita fan and when I pay a little more, I expect the chicken to be a real chicken breast and the steak to be a real piece of steak. I can go to the discount tex-mex joint and get precut frozen for half the price. The salsa was bland. But that’s where my dislike ends. The other meals like the burrito plates and child’s hamburger were great. We had two bar drinks that were great and cold. And we all left feeling full and well attended to. With so many local Mexican food venues… it’s tough competition and the experience overall was not judged to be worthy of a return trip by our party.
Amazing Mexican food with the best salsa in my opinion. You can’t go wrong with the tortilla soup, mini chimichangas, fajitas or even the tuna. That’s right the tuna is awesome!
Got food poisoning from here. My mom & sister got it as well we all ate different food…. Final time we will be there. Even the margaritas are bad, they are so loaded with liquor they have no flavor. Might as well just be a shot with some fake fruit..
Hidden gem for breakfast. Not a fan of their lunch/dinner menu, but their breakfast on the weekend is phenomenal! I love their shrimp omelette and potatoes with green salsa. Boyfriend gets the breakfast tacos with chicken. Coffee is always on point.
Great music, great beer, good food. Fun place.
