Food is ok. I like the vibe the atmosphere gives. I went to a few events upstairs where there was a speaker (Libertarian party seminar) and we had a speaker, but the last time they refused to turn the radio down so it was impossible to hear. We haven’t had our events there since. Wings are decent. Service is adequate.

Fish and chips. Fries were made hours ago and left under a heat lamp for brunch. An utter nightmare for my tastebuds like reheated McDonald’s.

Not bad, but not special!! It’s Pub food. I will say, we really enjoyed the London Chicken Salad (no blue cheese ). It was a great place for a Saturday afternoon meal.

We have had some hit and miss here. I think it really depends on who’s cooking that day. But the food has been incredible to good. Fish and chips are a must. I wish they would bring back the cheese plate and the dips for the chips. The atmosphere is to die for.

ok i have a theory about restaurants that has yet to be proven wrong. It doesnt hold true to all but for the most part you can judge a kitchen by how it serves the simplest of fare. For example – if you can make a burger and fries pop, without going goram crazy, then the rest of your menu will be reasonably tasty as well. That being said the londoner kitchen needs work. Order the standard burger, cheddar cheese, fries and a coke – simple fare. The burger was good, the bun not so much – uncooked like they just threw it together. The lettuce, onion, pickles were good, cheap mayo. The fries were mediocre at best – frozen seasoned fries. Bleh. The coke was ok and the people were nice. Monday night so not a big crowd. There are some other things on the menu i would like to try. See if they do those better but so far it is shaping up to be not on my list of places to recommend.

Doesn’t look like much on the outside. Stopped in for dinner while my daughter was at a school function at nearby Episcopal. One of the best Shepherd’s pies I’ve ever had, and I’ve had them in England, Ireland, South Africa and Australia. The sauce tastes as if there was a red wine reduction. Plan on returning for another. Friendly service!!

Bartender suggested the Shepherd’s Pie over the Bangers. Really enjoyed it. Good beer selection. Friendly staff. Good pub feel to the place. Not too many TVs. Pool table, dart board, Golden Tee, and a healthy Scotch & Irish whiskey selection. I’m going to be back to try the bangers. I wish I lived closer.
