Overpass is a great place for decent food and good drinks. The atmosphere is what you go for; it is fun and lively most of the time. The staff is usually friendly and Im sure there is at least one thing on the small menu that will catch your eye. Its a great place for a good burger. Nothing much for vegetarian or vegan. 2904 Perkins Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70808

I crave their burger! I should probably branch out and try some of the other incredible things on their menu but I cant stray from this delight! The atmosphere is great and they have an interesting selection of creative cocktails. Theyre known for their Merchant Mule (their take on the Moscow mule).

Y’all…this place was so good! We had the most amazing brunch paired with some of the best Bloody Mary’s I’ve ever had. I would pay for the recipe for their house mix. Brussels sprouts are one of my favorite veggies so I was happy to see them as an appetizer. Super flavorful and caramelized. The shrimp and grits was good to the last bite. They were coarsely ground, thick, and oh-so-creamy. I loved the tanginess of the goat cheese with the salty bits of pork. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the dish had just the right amount of gravy. This is a meal I order a lot and I would put it at the top of variations I’ve tried. Such a cool atmosphere too. It’s not everyday you get to eat under the overpass of an interstate. There are several little shops and restaurants in this area so sitting on the patio amidst the bustling weekend crowd was very enjoyable. There was a wait to be seated inside, but our meal came out quickly. I would go back again for sure.

My friends and I had brunch here and it was so good! All of us had the bottomless mimosas. I ordered the French toast, it was well worth it. It had blueberries, pecans, and syrup with whipped cream. It was definitely a good cheat meal on my diet. My friends ordered different biscuits and they were all very pleased. Their biscuits are made from scratch. I was told the honey chicken cheddar biscuit was the best. And also the chicken skins were delicious!! We all split it as an appetizer, it went fast. The atmosphere was great and so was the service. We didn’t have to wait for anything! I can’t wait to go back!!
