Awesome ribs!!
Huge disappointment!. 4 of us went to TJ’s on Acadian. It smelled delicious from the outside, but the smell inside was horrible. Like spoiled milk. My guess is so much has been dropped on the nasty carpet there, it’s causing the stench. So, now to the food–2 had hand cut ribeye, 1 had baseball sirloin, and the last person had bar-b-q chicken and ribs. Salads were embarrassing. I think a two year old could eat more than what they have us. The baked potatoes were old and definitely not done. Steaks weren’t cooked properly, but the worst part of the entire meal was the fact that there was zero seasoning on the steaks. I think a leather softball glove has more flavor. Bar-b-q was cold and sauce was not edible. A huge waste of time and money. That was literally the worst meal I have ever had! I do NOT recommend this place. It is a s#%thole. They won’t be open much longer at this rate. I will never go back.
Unpleasant experience. We stopped in Friday evening . As usual the food was good . The service was ok , but the atmosphere was terrible . There were several tables around us full of loud , cackling women that had no idea how to behave in public. We couldn’t carry on a normal conversation at our table . I’ll have to try their other location and see if the clientele is more civilized .
I truly recommend this place. And the TJ’S Platter is the bomb !!!!!

Split a combo platter of ribs brisket and wings with a side salad and corn grits. The meat was good and well cooked, fell of the bone and very flavorful. Salad was a salad nothing special. Corn grits were cold. Overall impression it’s ok remember it as being much better during previous visits.
Good food, good service and excellent value. Ordered a stuffed, smothered chicken breast served on a bed of fresh spinich. It was cooked perfect: done but juicy. And it was giant! Ate at the bar. The serverwas attentive but didn’t bug me.
