It’s been very difficult to locate GREAT authentic Greek food but we found it here.service was impeccable amd food was fresh. Went for lunch and had the lamb medallions. To die for!
Hands-down the best Greek food in town. This Chicago native must admit that this is the best Greek food that I have had since leaving Chicago. I can’t wait to go back. The only true Greek restaurant in the area.
I’m very happy that this place is back. Excellent food and a great atmosphere. I wasn’t happy when they closed down their location on highland a few years ago and had missed it ever since. But I have to say that the food not only didn’t take a hit during their hiatus, but it have actually gotten better. I love Zorba’s.
Yummy!. I had a take out order for the first time today and wow…all I can say is DElicious. Though I didnt get to experience the service aspect fully, the service I received at the bar to pick up my takeout was attentive and pleasant. I got the lunch portion of a chicken shawarma sandwich which came with fries and a zorba salad…$10!! and two people could split it….I know I did! So happy this is so close to work – my new go-to 🙂

Great lunch spot! My cowo…. Great lunch spot!My coworkers and I work really close and are consistently impressed with the delicious menu and OUTSTANDING service. My favorite lunch item is the chicken shwarma sandwich, served with salad and fries. Very flavorful and huge portion for only $10. We are always fretted with warmth and taken great care of even when busy. The lamb sandwich is also very good, although bottom can be slightly soggy sometimes. Salads and soups are also very good. Kudos to the owners and staff for a job well done!
Hit and Miss. I have visited Zorbas on three occasions since they reopened. Please excuse the misspellings that are sure to follow. First Zorbas serves the best pita bread I’ve ever eaten, hands down. The combination slouvaki plate is wonderful save the grilled chicken which is okay, but needs seasoning. The pomegranate salad with shrimp is outstanding and this comes from a non-salad eater. The pomegranate, citrus, top flight greens and grilled shrimp a delight.The chicken shawerma was bland because it simply had no seasoning. The same is true of the pastisio. If you don’t know what pastisio is, it is like greek lasagna, long 22 caliber macaroni topped with ground meat that is topped with a bechemel. It was a beautiful dish, but I would have added some onion and garlic to the ground beef. Some salt would help too.It is wonderful that the food is not over seasoned, but it would be nice if add a little, that’s what its for. I’m tempted to try the mousaka, but I’m afraid it will be as bland as its cousin pastisio.Get the slouvaki or the pomegranate salad and you won’t be disappointed.
