I tell you what–the Botato is the best thing out there, delicious, worth it and wonderful. And their sauce is to die for. Perfect, delicious, sweet and hot. Best i have ever had. I get the Botao with DOUBLE meat. Yes I said double meat. costs about $15. but oh boy is it ever good. Butter, plenty sour creme (they give me extra), plenty cheddar cheese. It is the meal I would want if it were the last meal I were to ever have. Try it. I love it. You will not be sorry. Other things I have not tried except for the pepper sausage. It is lean and excellent. But boy the Botato is the thing. Go just for it. You will not be sorry. I guarantee.
Competition quality barbecue served by great staff. Portions are generous at a good price. Service is quick. Worth driving out of your way for this hidden gem. Enjoy !
Carter. It’s Friday night and my wife wants some BBQ. I have never dined at Bodacious before but had heard good remarks several times. I look up the closing times and see I have about an hour left till the doors lock. I arrive at 8:05pm to find the store being cleaned and a less than hospitable welcome. The young lady behind the counter walks off to the bathroom as she watches me walk in. Then the cooks do not speak or acknowledge my presence for several minutes. Finally a man cleaning the dining area reluctantly ask if he could help me. I state that I would like an order of BBQ nachos. He replies that no shredded beef or pork was left and would have to use sliced meat. The cook who was cleaning his station then spoke up and said the cheese was already put away into the cooler. I simply stated thank you and left at that point. I would not recommend anyone to go there if service is a requirement for your dining experience. Can’t comment on the food because I never had the opportunity to enjoy it,
One of the two best BBQ joints in Shreveport/Bossier City. Their ribs are perfect and the wife always goes for the smoked chicken. We always come here whenever we are in town.
The best BBQ I’ve had so far in my life. The meat has great smokiness without overpowering the natural taste of the meat, their baked beans are delicious. Their sauce is a bit too tangy for my taste but I’ve grown to love it. Great find!
