Skunk Taste. We ate at this place two nights ago. I ordered a bowl of the seafood gumbo and an order of boudin balls with sweet tea to drink. I’ve never had an issue with my breath not being right before. Later that night, my mouth and throat felt like I’d been sprayed in it by a skunk. I brushed my teeth, drank water, soda and juice but the smell would not go away. The next morning, I purchased some peppermint Altoids and have been eating them since. The smell/feeling has not returned. I will not visit this place ever again.
Best Cajun food in town!. Everything at Gumbo to Geaux is delicious! Such a mixture of food, you can’t go wrong! If you’ve never tried it, you’re seriously missing out!!

Delicious! My husband and I just split the fried alligator and crawfish cornbread. It was super yummy and plenty of food for us both (and to be honest, we can put some food away). This is a great restaurant!
Thought the price was a bit high. The burger (per other reviews) was indeed pretty tasty and huge!! The bun was unique and buttery. For such a hole in the wall, they were busy. Burger was cooked to order an took a bit but cooked perfectly for such a thick patty. Gotta throw in that their soda (got Diet DrP) was perfectly syruped and has the right ratio of carbonation to syrup. Loved the taste of everything. Will definitely return.
Best kept secret in Bossier City. Fantastic hamburgers! Their Corny dogs are the best in town. Always on my radar when I’m in So. Bossier.
