Way too much cheese, if u are English speaking, beware. What u think u ordered, is not what u get. OVERPRICED!!!!:(
As a great alternative to all the TexMex places in Shreveport, La Jaibita gets a solid recommendation. Tacos, enchiladas and tamales are decent. I recommend the camarones al diabla (shrimp in spicy red sauce). More known for their seafood dishes rather than their tacos, enchiladas, tamales or fajitas. Brush up on your spanish they don’t speak much english.
Not edible! I had fajita steak on cheese enchiladas. The steak was awful, the cheese was completely congealed and there were literally puddles of grease. They also put a bag of frozen veggies in their rice. The sweet tea and beans were decent though. Would not recommend to anyone.
Tasty Place. Tried the Ceviche and was very satisfied with it. The chips and salsa were also very good. And the waitress was a cutie. 😉 I’ll be back.
The ceviche cocktail was excellent but extremely acidic. It hurt our teeth!! Nachos were enjoyed by the children. Fajitas were mediocre, nothing special. There was mold inside the lid to the hot sauce.
Food was great! They don’t speak much English there… but then again my Spanish sucks. Oh and plates are huge and full of food… so bring your appetite or share a meal. Next time we will bring the kids and order 2 meals.
