My husband and I heard wonderful things about the restaurant, so we decided to try it out. We ordered take out, was not satisfied at all. Husband also ordered chicken strips for our kids and received orange chicken.

Wow!. Service was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! Food was great too ~ hot, correct, portions very large and taste and presentation were wonderful.Super duper surprised that all across the board this place got perfect stars with our family. MOST DEFINITELY will eat here again.
Great Experience. I’m not sure what all the negative comments are about. The times I’ve eaten here or ordered take out have all been positive. The owner is always there and greets my husband and me with a friendly smile and hello. We haven’t had anything that we didn’t completely enjoy. In fact, I would have a tough time picking one favorite. I am, however, partial to their hot and sour soup and often bring home an order for my next day’s lunch.
This place is confusing. First, theres no real instruction on what to do. There’s an ordering counter but apparently you dont order from it. They use it like a server station…kind of. Second, the menu i got in the restaurant didn’t match the one someone loaded on here earlier that resembled Panda Express. Instead i got a menu that was incredibly sticky. Also, they apparently only have like 10 menus because we had to wait for one of the tables to order before we even knew that what we looked up online prior to arriving isn’t what they serve. There was one over worked server, at least thats what she complained about while waiting on only 6 tables, and one lady taking calls and yelling orders through the window to the kitchen. The soda was flat, the tea was nasty, the crab rangoons were AMAZING, but they don’t at all make up for my not so great meal. Some pieces or chicken were uneatable and the steamed rice was old even though we got there at 12 and they open at 11. No clarity on paying the check either. Theres a sign over a register to ‘pay here’ but the waitress went to some of the tables. I also don’t understand the giant dirty trashcans in two places in the dining room that have tray holders on them. What need does a sit down/supposedly fine dining restaurant have for tray holders and smelly trashcans 3 feet from my table? Overall, sadly not impressed. I wish this local business were worth supporting.27 Mar, 2015General Tso’s. Decent lunch portions. Too bad it wasn’t that great.27 Mar, 2015General Tso’s. Most pieces on my plate were too hard to eat. The ones i could eat tasted ok, but the pieces i couldn’t eat put me off.
Great Food! Authentic Chinese Owner and Chef. This is the real deal straight from China. The owner is a ten year immigrant that is so sweet. The head chef is Chinese and oversees the kitchen. Now don’t expect it to actually be pure Chinese cause they have to mainstream it for the american public and most Americans wouldn’t like the pure Chinese stuff, but this is a great hidden jewel of a restaurant in Haughton… Just east of Bossier’s race track on highway 80. By the way… If you do want the real deal Chinese cuisine… Ask! I bet they’ll fix it for you. We’ve eaten here a couple times and I kinda hate to let everyone in on this since the sweetie and I enjoy the quiet quaint atmosphere but it’s just to good. We ate dinner this past week, we split the chicken and scallop veggie mix with fried rice and a couple of spring rolls – fresh and really hot!! The main dish was served on a streaming platter with bowl of fried rice on the side and two plates provided for splitting by our very helpful waiter. So good! The shrimp and scallops stir fried just right, the brown sauce just amazing, fried rice not over cooked. Our spring rolls were served with hot sweet and sour sauce that must have been made in the restaurant! Sweet but not to much, not to thick, and just enough sour to cut the sweet. Great food, quaint atmosphere, and great prices.Good stuff! Go. You’ll be glad you did.
Excellent food for the price. Friendly and fast service. Will visit often.
