We visited Pepes in Haughton and the Guacamole was awesome. …. and would like to serve it with our Mexican night at home. .. would you have a large to go? How big is it and what would the cost be? Thank you
Good salsa with a spicy kick. Carne Asada get a 7.5 rating due to lack of seasoning. No margaritas is the only con.
Good mexican food. Staff are polite and service is prompt, menu is extensive, food is prepared and served impressively fast, the food tastes good however the quantity is not commensurate with the price. Their salsa and chips are very good and they are generous with the chips. Other than the prices being a bit high, a very good eating experience.
The best ever. I used to go to the Pepe’s in Minden when I was a little kid, but after I moved to Doyline I started going to the one in Haughton. I know they are pretty much the same but for some reason I just love the one in Haughton so much more. Since I left Louisiana I haven’t been able to find a Mexican restaurant so delicious. Their guacamole is to die for, and everytime I go I religiously get their beef fajitas. Well, I still live far away but it’s so great that I’m about to make the trip just to go to this restaurant. Going to Lafayette to visit family and making it a point on a side trip to come to Pepe’s where I haven’t dined in over 2 years.
Good Food, friendly staff. We have gone to Pepe’s since they opened. The staff has watched our kids grow up through the years and always ask how they are if they are not with us. They are friendly and work so hard to please. The food is good. We especially like the chicken fajitas and their excellent salsa. Their takeout is fast and accurate if you can’t eat in. Good job, Pepe’s, you are one of my family’s favorite places for a casual and fun meal.
